7. Isaac Cory¹ was born in Sep 1649 in Southold, Suffolk Co, Long Island, NY. He died on 8 Mar 1702 in Southold, Suffolk Co, Long Island, NY. BIOGRAPHY
On July 6, 1680, his father gave him a deed of trust for most of his possessions, (Southold town records I, pg 115). Isaac was rated at Southampton in 1683, on 148 pounds, 3s, and 4d. In 1686, as an inhabitant of that town, he drew lot No. 50 of the Acobogue meadows, in connection with Henry Ludlam. He afterwards removed to the town of Southold, where he owned over a hundred acres in 1695. Letters of administration on the estate of Isaac were issued to his widow, Sarah, on May 21, 1702. Information on Isaac has been furnished by Dr. Joan S. Guilford. In her documentation, she starts a new line beginning with Isaac, as she can not determine his origin. I referencing him here with this notation and will move him if further information comes to light.
