Sixth Generation
400. Frederick
Nelson Cory1,7 was born in Oct 1820 in Gagetown, Queens Co, NB, CND.
He was buried in Greenwood Cemetery.
He is the only one of the children for whom no baptismal record was found, wither
in New Brunswick or in Ontario, about 1823 or 1823. They lived in Saltfleet Township
where Freerick was a fisherman, then a market gardener, and for a time the owner
and operator the The Sportsman's Arms Hotel. His will was dated March 20, 1894,
and a codicil to it was dated December 6, 1902. Elizabeth
Brandt7 was born in 1825
in Upper Canada. She died on 24 Oct 1889 in Burlington ON, CND.
She was buried in Greenwood Cemetery. The gravestone for Elizabeth
in the Greenwood Cemetery, Burlington, is broken and the inscription very difficult
to read, but with the help of the census records as to her year of birth, it
seems safe to say that she died October 24, 1889 at the age of 64 years and 6
months. Much of the information on this family came from Mrs. Winifred Willson,
548 Beach Blvd., Hamilton, Ont. a granddaughter of Frederick N. Corey Frederick
