5036. Van Cory¹ was born on 13 Oct 1882 in Jackson twp, Elkhart Co, IN. He died in TN. There isa f picture of the school in Tennesee where Van taught on the back of which he is refered to as Robert Van Cory. He died in Tennesee of a viatamin deficiency (pellagra or beri beri).

A pocket watch in the possession of Lee Cory as the initials RVC engraved on the back. This probably beloned to Van. A watchmaker who looked at the watch on August 31, 1993, state it was made after Robert V. Cory (Lucky Bob) died in 1879.

Van Cory and Geneva were married.
