4. John Corey Jr. was born before 17 Jan 1716/17. He was baptized on 3 Mar 1716/17.¹ He died on 17 Jan 1783 in Sturbridge, Worcester Co, MA. of apoplexy He was buried in Sturbridge, Worcester Co, MA. John become a "New Light" separatist and was imprisoned for a time at Worcester gaol for adherence to Baptist philosphy.

John Corey Jr. and Hannah Smith were married on 11 Mar 1740/41 in Chelmsford, Middlesex Co, MA. Hannah Smith (daughter of Zacariah Smith and Hulda) was born on 29 Oct 1718 in Roxbury, Suffolk Co, MA. She died on 13 Nov 1803 in Sturbridge, Worcester Co, MA. mistakenly called Sarah in her death record. John Corey Jr. and Hannah Smith had the following children:
