6. Benjamin Corey was born on 4 Dec 1720 in Roxbury, Suffolk Co, MA. He was buried in Feb 1810 in Shaftsbury Cem., Bennington Co, VT. He died on 25 Feb 1810 in Shaftsbury, Bennington Co, VT. Benjamin died intest. and his estate was opened 2 june 1810 at which time Jonathan Corey was appointed administrator, he then resided in Luzerne Co, PA. Debts were owed to John S. Corey, Benjamin Corey, Jr., Jonathan Corey, and Phebe Buckland. Inventory showed real property worth £300 and personal property worth £259:90.

Abigail Abbe (daughter of Ebenezer Abbe and Mary Allen) was born on 1 Aug 1724 in Mansfield, Tolland Co, CT. She died between 6 May 1811 and 12 Feb 1812. The two dates are whe her dower was set off and whe the phrase "except the encumbrance of the widow's thirds" was deleted from the sle of her husbands property to Stephen Niles. Benjamin Corey and Abigail Abbe had the following children:

Mary Corey was born on 12 Aug 1744 in Windham, Windham Co, CT. prob. died young as there is no further record.

John Corey was born on 9 Mar 1746 in Windham, Windham Co, CT. prob. the John who was collector and constable of Shaftsbury, VT and resisded in Cambridge, then Albany, Co, NY, later Washington Co.
