38. David Corey was born on 29 Jan 1750/51 in Mansfield, Tolland Co, CT. He signed a will on 21 Dec 1820. He left to wife 1/3 of his farm and whole use of house, furniture and livestock. He left daughter Susanna $600 if she would stay home until he and wife died. $500 otherwise. To daughter Lydia he left $300 and to son-in-law Nahum Wheelock and daughter Mary everything else after the death of his wife. Nahum was named Exec. The will was accepted by the Court 7 Feb 1821, the following stating they had noobjection: widow Damaris; Susanna Corey; Edward D. Cobb; Lydia Cobb. He was buried in Jan 1821 in Shaftsbury Cem., Bennington Co, VT. He died on 18 Jan 1821 in Shaftsbury, Bennington Co, VT.

David Corey and Damaris Aylesworth were married on 12 Aug 1784 in Shaftsbury, Bennington Co, VT. Damaris Aylesworth (daughter of David Aylesworth and Martha Franklin) was born about 1756. She was born in 1756 in RI. She died on 12 Oct 1836 in Shaftsbury, Bennington Co, VT. She was buried in Oct 1836 in Shaftsbury Cem., Bennington Co, VT. David Corey and Damaris Aylesworth had the following children:
