82. William Cory¹ was born on 22 Feb 1722 in Newport, Newport Co, RI. He died about 1746 in Warwick, Kent Co, RI.

William Cory and Elizabeth Drake were married on 3 Apr 1743. Elizabeth Drake¹ (daughter of Captain John Drake and Esther White) was born on 5 Mar 1724/25 in East Greenwich, Kent Co, RI. She died about 1768. The following is the famous Drake connection for the family line. You will notice that this has little relation to the actual line, with many dates and persons incorrect.

Drake connection for this family line: Thomas Drake (Youngest brother of Sir Francis Drake) married Elizabeth Aregore, and had one son named Francis, who became the first Baronet. Francis first marriage produced no issue. He then married Joanne Stroud and had five sons. John, the third child of Francis and Joanne was born 28 July 1610. He married and had six children. John, John's first child, was born in England ca 1657. He married Hannah Moore in America 30 November 1692, They had five children. John, the first child of John and Hannah was born at Windsor, CT September 15, 1694. He married Esther White 14 April 1723, they had two daughters. Elizabeth, born 5 March 1724, married first William Corey, son of John Corey of North Kingston, RI, on April 3rd 1742. They had two sons. Her first husband William died in 1746. Elizabeth then married Thomas Corey, the brother of her first husband William, on 15 February 1748 and to them were born six children. William Cory and Elizabeth Drake had the following children:
