On October 12th 1778 Peleg was in Capt. Eddys Co of artificers acting
as a boatman on an expedition to Rhode Island. He was listed in the
1790 census of North Kingston, Washington Co RI. His family consisted
of: 1 male of 16 and up including head of family, 1 male under 16
years, 7 females including head of family.

Peleg Corey and Mercy Warner were married about 1775 in North Kingstown, Washington Co, RI (Now Wickford). Mercy Warner¹ (daughter of Samuel Warner and Keziah Brown) was born about 1754 in North Kingstown, Washington Co, RI (Now Wickford). She died on 20 Jul 1830 in North Kingstown, Washington Co, RI (Now Wickford). Peleg Corey and Mercy Warner had the following children:
