284. Esther Cory1 was born on 30 May 1751 in North Kingstown, Washington Co, RI (Now Wickford). She died on 20 Dec 1836 in Grand Lake, Queens Co, NB, CND.

Esther Cory and Captain Ebenezer Slocum were married about 1777/78 in North Kingstown, Washington Co, RI (Now Wickford). Captain Ebenezer Slocum1 (son of Charles Slocum and Sarah Allen) was born on 18 May 1750 in North Kingstown, Washington Co, RI (Now Wickford). He died on 9 Apr 1827 in Queens Co, NB, CND. He was buried in Fanjoy's Point on Grand Kake, Waterborough Co, NB, CND. Ebenezer was a farmer and served as a Captain of the Royal Volunteers during the American Revoulationary War.

He moved to New Brunswick later with his wife, two children, and his uncle Eleazer Slocum. They arrived on the shiop Union in the year 1783, landing at Saint John, New Brunswick. Two other children, Eleazer, born 8 Feb 1771 and Ruth stayed with an uncle John Cottere of Exeter twp who raised them. Esther Cory and Captain Ebenezer Slocum had the following children:
