900. Ellery Cory1 was born on 1 May 1793 in Tiverton,
Newport Co, RI. He died on 22 Jan 1874 in Cooperstown, Otsego Co,
NY. BIOGRAPHY
Ellery moved to Cooperstown about 1815 and opened a furniture busneaa
oppisite Central House. Wllery and his brother Holder had a hardware
store in cooperstown. In 1830 ellery built a house of "respectable
dementions and of genteel finish" on West Street. In 1860 E and H cory
bilt a new store. Ellery Cory and Phebe were married. Phebe1 died on 21 Dec 1840 in Cooperstown,
Otsego Co, NY. Ellery Cory and Phebe had the following children:
